Library Instruction

There are several ways librarians can help you and your students.

Purchases and Reserves

Let us know what you'd like us to add to the Library's holdings. We accept requests for books, journals, electronic gadgets, etc.

You may want to consider adding items to our reserve collection for your courses. You may use our copies of books, DVDs, etc., or your own. Feel free to place extra copies you may have of text books on reserve too. Use the form below.

Room Reservations

We have a large meeting room and a computer lab that can be reserved. For information on how to reserve a room for a meeting or class session, visit our Room Reservations page.

Source Review

We're happy to help your students find and evaluate information sources before or after it's been turned in for a grade. We can:

  • Comment on content & quality of sources
  • Verify that source types meet assigned criteria, i.e. scholarly articles, etc
  • Indicate citation inaccuracies
  • Analyze whether annotations reflect sources accurately
  • Check out our getting started with Google Scholar guide.

Contact Christina Radisauskas at or 616-632-2124 with any questions.
